when the Lord is with you, just amazing

Recently i have been feeling the presence of the Lord, very strongly. i think it started with me putting my faith in Him for my healing of my abscess. and He did, as He always does, He is a faithful Lord.
Cannot stop reading the Word and gaining Life from it.

There are many verses which impacted me, but i shall share them another time. Today i just wanna bring this verse. God will protect you if you make Him your dwelling place. and we need not try to be sinless, or do good deeds. i 'll be the first to tell you i am not the perfect Christian. So i made god my dwelling place and He provided everything i need, and more.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
       will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

 2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
       my God, in whom I trust."

 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
       and from the deadly pestilence.

 4 He will cover you with his feathers,
       and under his wings you will find refuge;
       his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

 5 You will not fear the terror of night,
       nor the arrow that flies by day,

 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
       nor the plague that destroys at midday.

 7 A thousand may fall at your side,
       ten thousand at your right hand,
       but it will not come near you.

 8 You will only observe with your eyes
       and see the punishment of the wicked.

 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
       even the LORD, who is my refuge-

       no disaster will come near your tent.

 11 For he will command his angels concerning you
       to guard you in all your ways;

 12 they will lift you up in their hands,
       so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
       you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

 14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
       I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
       I will be with him in trouble,
       I will deliver him and honor him.

 16 With long life will I satisfy him
       and show him my salvation."

ROYAL THOSAI from Ghim Moh is Heavenly!!! (i wonder whether manna was this good)
i had lunch with Kero Lilly Melvin and Andre today and amidst our wonderful conversation(LWIPFG) was wonderful food and the heavenly ROYAL THOSAI!!!!

Thosai is.....this Indian crepe thing which is far from creepy. it is shiok until i cannot shiok anymore! Wah lau! Siao ah! it comes with 3 different sauces, usually 1. coconut, 2. a variation of coconut, 3. a sort of curry i dunno what to call it. after my research maybe i can tell you more.

And Royal Thosai has potatoes, onions, cheese!!!!! a glimps, egg, and butter in it!!!! AARRGHGHGGH its driving me crazy brother!!!!

i am blessed

The past month's been a whirlwind of activities. it started from the studying for juris test and subsequently my 6000 islamic law paper on morality. besides the public law assignment last semester, this has been the toughest paper to write. but i am happy to have completed it. the research required of me for the paper taught me a lot and gave me a real education on many current affairs concerning Islam today. these issues and problems are real today and they also help in one's understanding of the global conflict of terrorism. it was amazing to be able to read in depth and write a paper on issues that are real and pertinent today, stuff that you read on the headlines regularly.

along with jurisprudence, i can say it has been an amazing semester. it is a joy(and pain sometimes) to read relevant stuff. REAL stuff. i have been blessed to study a subject i enjoy and which relates to my human experience. studying law is a god given opportunity, considering how bad a student i was in secondary school and JC.

But i asked God to lead me and He did. i still remember the song 'The Potter's Hand' which we sang in church just after i made the decision to retain. i was afraid, not knowing whether i chose correctly. but i decided to trust God and that song ministered to me a lot. Thereafter, the greatest miracle occured un my life and i got good results, good enough for NUS Law. if you knew me in the past you would never see me being a law student.

i didnt have the discipline, and right now, i admit i still am too lazy and slack. But God continually works miracles and sustains me. and i am just thankful for studying all that i am now. to God be all the Praise and Glory.
