sting of death is gone.

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”- 1 Corinthians 15:55-57

we have been set free from sin and its consequence: death.

it does not mean that we will stop sinning. because we live in fleshly bodies, sin still arises. but thanks be to God, eternal death and damnation sis no longer our reward.
