family law and bintan

YAY!!!! I GOT FAMILY LAW!!!!!
so now i have 4 subjects. i dropped law and econs and human rights in asia for FAMILY LAW!!!
Shiok! and family does not have test in the semester, just a final exam and class participation. i am damn happy.

anyway, in December 27-30 in 2006 the KIAs went Bintan. Ian Gerald Lion Shawn Xudes Jun Marcus Amelia Pongs went, along with Gerald's Dad, Mum and sis Cynthia. Gerald's super maid TinTin also went. one helluva cook.
notable absentees were Joni and Lawrence.
anyway, it was damn fun and we ate and we played soccer and we got injured and we ran and we kara oked and shawn lion and i nearly died in the bintan waters but thank God we survived. i am a survivor, otherwise known as Wavemaster.

MOK stands for Make-Out-Kia. i will not elaborate on how or why or under what circumstances we gave him that nickname. it is self explanatory.

just for the sake of it

the post has no content, i am writing just for the sake of writing.

after i counted, i realised i have 7 essays to write this semester and 2 exams to sit for.
last semester i only had 1 essay (albeit a 6000 word one) and it was already a frightening experience. i got a C+ FOR THAT: ISLAMIC LAW.
so with 7 essays to write in 13 weeks, amounting to about 1 essay every fortnight, i think i have to practice. where esle to start but my blog.
ok..so whats happening now.. am in my clasroom where ther are 2 European guys, 1 Indian girl and 1 Canadian girl having a very serious conversation about their accents and others' accents.

this semester i have 5 modules. and it's not easy. this is probably the most difficult combination i will take.

Restitution.
Human rights in Asia by Thio Li Ann.
Emergencies and Legal theory.
Law and Econs for lawyers.
International Comparative Evidence.

so far 2 topics i have had are reminiscent of jurisprudence. all theory. Arg. it's going to be very difficult, but i see a great deal of training and learning ahead. i need to stop speaking Singlish, which is my favourite language.
