ice coffee

Tuesdays are bad days for me. I have classes from 9am to 930pm, with only 2 and a half hours of break in between. Today has been exceptionally bad. I think it has got to do with my waking up at 6 freaking 30am. Just now, at tax class, I was hardly listening. I spent most of time looking at blogs and friendster, which, I don’t usually do.

Now, at police class, I am blogging. It’s called International Police Co-operation. We took a class picture last week with my lecturers, who are rather distinguished men. one is Ronald Noble, Secretary General of Interpol, and the other Mr Russel Martha, senior legal counsel. Class has been entertaining, though sometimes a little dry and too much international law. AH, Singaporean students don’t like international law. We have been trained to stay in our comfort zone and be frogs in the well.

See our photos at this page!

Besides Police, I am taking Tax Law, Conflicts of Law, Chinese Intellectual Property as well as Aviation Law, which is damn interesting. Fascinating. I have a two day week from next week onwards, Monday and Tuesday only. And Monday only have one class. Shiok, then, I can concentrate on:
LAW IV which is on 21, 22, 23 September
IPPT which I must pass by 29 October
Cell which is every Friday
VCF which is every Friday
Soccer training for Law inter year games which is on almost every week
Biathlon which is in March 2008
Enjoying myself which is every day.
Joni, which is also, everyday.

Today I have come to a conclusion that I have changed too much in the past 2-3 years. Become a little too serious. I want to have fun and let go but am unsure how to go about it without suffering from its consequences. In the past, I had a lot of fun but I don’t think I can do that now. am still having fun but its different.
as some of the kia put: 'we cant keep living in our past. we need to create new adventures'.
thank you ian for entertaining gerald shawn and i that night at island creamery. you are indeed the best.

Gerald told me I am too ‘lao’, cos he asked me to go clubbing or something and I didn’t want. not that I think clubbing is evil or what, I just…don’t enjoy it as I did anymore. nowadays I just prefer…running, playing soccer, gym, eat. Of course I also love bible study and holidaying with joni and hanging out with my friends.

I think I need more career options. Sandwich bar? Food food food. George Quek is a genius.

beginning of the end

school started this week. my final year in law school. it's passing by too quickly!
it's a hectic start to the semester, cos i have an intensive subject: International Police Co-operation (or the lack thereof) which takes up 3 weeknights a week for 3 weeks. thereafter, law IV Musical ,which will be on the last week of September.

i love school actually. i like deciding what time i wake up and wheni can go run gym or swim.
recently i have been training more, cos i have to pass IPPT by 29 OCT. hopefully, i can do that by the start of October.
After i am done with IPPT, i intend to train for a biathlon. i hope to complete 1 (and not end up the last) in the first half of 2008. anybody wanna join? so far, i know 3 friends who have expressed interest. shawn, jun, and ziliang.

alright, i also have decided to start posting food reviews on hungrygowhere.com! was so bored during lecture last night that i went alon and did it. haha not sure how long i can sustain. 1 step at a time la, i will aim for... 10 by the end of the year.

my alias is makan-kaki, in reference to my makan mata days with shawn kenny and ros. these days we have not the time, but i will pay tribute to them always. it was those days that really got me into finding good food.
oh, lion king, i have not forgotten you too, though you always went for quantity more than quality.

yeap, see you all soon, God bless and take care.
