not jaded, just accustomed.
i would say my heart has grown cold. i am used to it now. no longer going to let the emotional side overwhelm me. have grown cold. it happens, and i see it happen, but i am glad to say i have hardened my heart to it. i think the truth is that humans are selfish, fallen, evil creatures. so whenever i see a kind soul, i really stand in admiration. sad to say, there are few around. have you ever had a sinking feeling? what surrounds you is a facade? when that realisation hits you? i have been too foolish. yes, there will be good people.
because i see it so much, i have resigned. you can do what you want, i give up. don't befriend me if you dont want to. serious. i am just going to be myself. i dont wanna live in a shadow. i leave it to GOD for the future. anything goes. i am really happy. cos i have finally accepted myself. it doesnt matter anymore what people think or say. scorn, laugh, whatever. friends, find your only hope in GOD. everything else is fallen. gone.
i think what the bible said is very true. dont put your hope in man, or try to find favour in the eyes of man, but in GOD alone. it is so true. not that i have always chased the favour of man. but i admit to doing it sometimes. and i have been scalded. of course i am waiting for someone to prove me wrong. but meanwhile, no more no more. just please GOD alone. man always lets you down. goodnight.

yup it's true that human beings can be dead disappointing sometimes. but i hope u don't get too jaded. as you put your hope in God, try to see people through His eyes.. y do u think God still pursues us even tho we are such horrible people? tink God sees us as complete products.. n if we can see people like how Jesus did, life won't be too cold. =) happy happy...
i do understand your need to protect yourself, n it's always gd to b realistic abt things n not expect too much from ppl, but pls remember not to go the other extreme either, k? human love does exist too, n although we fail more often than not, we do try our best not to hurt those tt we love.
