law camp prop building
the weekend b4 prop building was great. i spent it at YM's leaders retreat at Singapore Sports School. and i even got to play on their beautiful pitch. shiok. it's fake grass, and it is shiok. but a couple of us boys lost to old men. i think their experience gave them the edge. besides, the space was too small. i could not dribble. and my team mates were just running all over the place. young boys la, 17-20, they have a lot of energy to run.
so then there was law camp prop building. wow. very tiring. very messy, but thankfully, we got it done by wednesday. it was really a lot of work done and those who came down must be commended. it was fantastic. for those folks who didnt come down...SHAME ON YOU!
i think it was good time of working together and i especially liked going down to clementi to buy dinner on tuesday night. well too bad some orders were screwed and some didnt get their food. i apologise. however, jac chua and i still cant figure who owes us money. we are short of $12! actually it belongs to colleen (kala pencer). she paid for all the chicken rices.
i liked painting and i think we had a lot of good paintings. the paints cost a bomb.
but overall, it was great, working, planning, eating, running around, getting to know people, building, cleaning, sweeping, CLEARING PAINT STAINS. the place really looked like hell on tuesday night. it was such a mess. but we came on wednesday and really did a great job and made the area outside moot court spick and span again. thanks for coming down on wednesday guys!!!!!!
next week will be more fun. we are going to dry run the games. hohoho merry christmas we are going to dry run water tele. haha. yes it will be fun, along with all the other uni studios stations. and jungle trek. yes, i want to play swing and all that. fun fun fun.
gOD SHOWED me what to do if i wanted to hear
HIM and commune. you need to let go certain areas of your life. confess a particular sin, forgive a person, or simply give up something you know GOD's been asking you to give up. the retreat was marvellous.
