what a week
been quite a meaningful and eventful week...lemme try to recap....
monday= dry run for senior's concert in school. pav and chin yong can rap quite well. it's going to be a blast. my band...a bit off la cos it was our first time with drums for those pieces. but with a lil practice, it should be fine. YEA LAWFLOWERS! after that, soccer with xudes gerald lion ravi zhuang shao muzahair da peng. quite fun but was a lil too wet. was damn tired was my 3rd day of soccer in a row. then dinner at marina with gerald xudes lion and jun. we stayed up till 11 plus talking about stuff. good chat and catching up, guys.
tuesday= inaug dry run. unwittingly, i am the chairs ic. but it's quite a simple job anyway. went to have a simple forum with NUS dean of students to discuss amenities and facilities we might need in bukit timah campus. am thinking of running for law club this round. anything but chair or vice chair.at night, shu's dinner. very entertaining group of people there and we had a good time, including making fun of HOM HOM. supper with Ros at prata bomb.(this was the first of 3 nights there).
wednesday= met bernice at coffee club for a chat, met kathy jess jo pam mel for 'lunch' at HV crystal jade la mian xiao long bao. the senior stewards/managers were having their lunch beside us. and were they having a SPREAD! so much good food! cant believe the staff get to eat so good food! and nicely laid out for them at the restaurant itself some more. wow. the perks of working in crystal jade. then we had QUEST dry run. VERY VERY VERY VERY VEYR VEY VEY4YVERYWERVAWFGHSG; FUN. HELLUVA(if you catch my pun) FUN!!!!!!!!!!!. PART OF THE ENJOYMENT COMES FROM working with some people i usually dont work with. my station people are jordan, kathy, colleen, siok hoon, cynthia, andre, and sheena. ended quite late, plus all the debrief and all that. then started my adventure. yes, it was about 1 plus am already.
the plan was to send pam back, then jac and i would go prata bomb for supper with kathy shawn sylvia and vicky. pam reached home safely and seeing that jac was damn tired, sent her home. at serangoon gardens, on making a very late turn, the car became very jerky, like beef jerky you know? take the stick of beef jerky and whack on jac's head you know? ya so the car became jerky and my worst fears came true. a bloody punctured tyre.....rims were like grounding the floor already.
thankfully we were about a 10 minute walk from jac's house. so we parked at the bus stop, walked to jac's house, she drove me to the shell. where the midnight man say he is an owl so he want to eat nests. so cannot fix my tyre. damn. went back to the car, found the spare tyre under the mountain of shit that my dad keeps in the boot. yay! got spare tyre! but dunno how to fix!
shit! idioit! last time in taiwan when the rover tyre punctured i just stood around doing nothing. diddnt bother learning. thankfully, my pal gerald and bernice came to my rescue! all the way from clementi! haha! so they arrived at like 3 plus am.
gerald tan weijun, the fastest WRX in Singapore as of now, fixed it in 10 minutes. he's damn used to it. always changing his tyres when he goes racing. anyone want to buy car, pls find me or him. got many kangtao and sure get you a good deal. and free trye changing services too.
ok so off to prata bomb with gerald and bernice for supper. 2nd night in a row!!!!!!!!!!! thankks jac chua for staying up with me and waiting all the way till 4am. had a good chat. jac chua is damn funny la. and her dog is called cola. reached home and slept at 530am. dead shacked like a camel who ran 27km like that.
thurs= work at Acts. kinda miss it but i know i cant be there forever. went for the ravi Zaccharias talk. i dozed off about 10 times. you know when you are at lectures or sermons and you fall asleep and your head like tilts until you suddenly jerk and wake up? ya i experienced it many times that night. it was a good talk. i am just a bad guy la. so after that, i thought, ok good, time to go home! yea! and Yan Cheng Kang gave me sumei and lion a lift home. but he was kinda hungry so we thought, what the heck since sumei stays at thomson, where should we eat?
THOMSON PRATA PLACE. BOMB. AGAIN.
ok la but to its credit its quite shiok. their mushroom cheese is good, $3.50 though. it's still half the price of the mad jalan kayu. that mushroom cheese is $7. shiokay man. ok it was very fun with yan, sumei and lion. great to have ho sumei back from princeton. she's really really really funny and entertaining and though she's 23 like me, she's damn aunty. but still cute in her aunty way la. i once thought she was going to be our first female prime minister. but looking at her now, i think tai tai more like it. still, she is one step behind Yang Lin, the soon to be Married one!!!!!!!!!!!

friday= LAST DAY AT ACTS. had lunch with kenny, he bought puffs for everyone! but that bloody xudes ate his yam one without waiting for me! jun came to visit. i wolfed down her ya kun toast in 2 minutes. i love ya kun. ok its a bit sad leaving Acts la. going to miss everyitng.EVERYTHING! BYE TO ALL MY COLLEAGUES!!!!! I WILL BE BACK TO VISIT AND DISTURB YOU!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE BACK TO SHOUT, DANCE AND ALL THAT. BYE BYE BANQUET TEH HALIA! HONG LIM WONTON MEE!!!!!!! CUTE FEMALE CUSTOMERS!!!!! STOCKTAKING!!!! ARRANGING BOOKS!!!! 3PM LUNCHES!!! SURFING INTERNET WHEN ITS EMPTY! UNCLE PETER AND HIS BELOVED ARSENAL!!!!!! MY GREAT AND BLOODY FUUNY MANAGERS!!!!!!!! it's been real fun there. but well, we have to move on........
so went for cell. we had 2 newcomers, bernice from SMU and Joni from NTU. we had one sheep back from michigan, Mark, the 'sexy mark' according to Yang Lin. it was a very interesting cell session to say the least. great worship by lion king and discussion. we ended on a very serious note though. supper at adam road. and cab back homeeeeeee.
saturday, which is today. lawflowers practice, good. lunch with keny shawn and vic at commonwealth. shiokay cheap and tasty chicken rice and fishball noodles. $2 and they give you a big bowl of noodles and 7 fishballs. how to beat that? Ym training session in church, and then dinner with gary at Macpherson Kopitiam. we had a great chat about everything. my life, his life, whats going on and hows God working. indeed God is working strongly in my life. it's truly exciting man.
ok matriculation week ahead. one year ago i was a freshmen and now i am helping out in O Team and starting year 2. my my my how time does fly. chiupee lives in my toilet.
